One of the greatest benefits of obtaining a HPSA designation is that it opens the door to grant monies across a wide range of medical specialties and services.

Since the U.S. government first created HPSAs in the 1970s, the designations have been used as a measure of medical need within a community. And for almost as long, HPSAs have been pre-requisites for various Federal and state grants and programs. Competition for these grants has become fierce, and application windows seem to have shrunk. Therefore, it is vital to know about these opportunities as they are unveiled in order to have a chance at submitting a grant proposal by the deadline.

In response to client requests, HPSA Acumen has introduced a grant prospecting component to our HPSA Benefit Support Service. If you need assistance with timely grant prospecting, our firm is available to custom research grants for you on a weekly basis at Federal, state, and local levels.  That way you are aware of the various grant opportunities as they present themselves.
